Series 9100 D.C. Power Supplies are designed
to deliver output current at a medium-high voltage with
precise regulation. They employ a reliable and completely
solid state technique using two regulated power supplies
in series.
One of them is coarsely regulated and the
other offers fine regulation. The former uses thyristors
for regulating primary voltage of power transformer while
the latter employs a conventional series regulator. The
scheme provides precisely regulated DC Voltage at very high
efficiency.
Series 9100 incorporates protections against
short circuit and overload using state-of-the-art electronic
circuitry with continuously variable maximum current limit
adjustable from 10% to 110% of full load current.
The output of the power supply is floating
i.e. either the +ve or -ve terminal can be connected to
the ground. Meters used are moving coil types with an accuracy
of ± 2% F.S.D.
