DC Power Supplies - Series 1000, 2000, 9000
These series of D.C. Power supplies are continuously variable, portable, low-cost, general purpose DC Stabilized power supplies for use in laboratory experiments and shop-floor experiments. These series incorporates protection against short-circuit and overload using state-of-the-art electronic circuitry with continuously variable maximum current limit, adjustable from above 10% to 110% of full load current. The unit are fully solid state and use silicon devices to ensure high stability are reliable operation. All models can be electrically floated up to 300 VDC off ground. Meters used are moving coil types with an accuracy of ± 2% F.S.D. Pre-regulator circuits are used for 5A and higher rating units.
The power supplies operate in CV/CL characteristics with current regulation of the order of 1%. The 60V models, up to 2A ratings, use a special power-saving split voltage arrangement.
