Series 1001 are precision constant - voltage / constant - current D.C. regulated power supplies which are ideal for R&D and production applications. These can be operated either in constant voltage or in constant current mode with automatic cross-over circuitry between constant voltage and constant current operations. All models have floating outputs. These use conservatively rated silicon devices and integrated circuits to ensure stable and reliable operation. Two meters are provided to continuously monitor the output voltage and output current with an accuracy of ± 2% F.S.D. The output voltage and load current are continuously adjustable with two sets of coarse and fine controls. Remote sensing is standard in all models. The power supplies are protected against over load and short-circuit conditions. Power supplies rated for more than 5 Amps, employ special pre-regulator circuits to reduce internal dissipation and improve efficiency, thereby making the supplies compact and reliable. |
