DC Power Supplies - Series 3000 & 3001
These series of DC power supplies contain presettable voltage power supplies and various with constant voltage and current foldback characteristics. All models are protected against overloads and short circuit. When these power supplies are mounted in confined areas, forced air cooling will be needed to remove heat dissipated in the power supply.
Over-voltage crowbar protection is standard with 5V & 48V units, and optional with other models. All models can be electrically floated up to 300VDC off ground. Meters used are moving coil types with an accuracy of ± 2% F.S.D. Output meters are standard with 48V/10A and higher rated models and can be optionally provided for all other models.
The high power units incorporate a thyrister controlled pre-regulator to reduce heat dissipation, improve efficiency and minimize size and weight. These models operate per constant-voltage/current limit characteristics.
Input/output terminations, power ON and DC ON indicators, ON/OFF switch, AC & DC fuses, plus voltage and current controls are provided on the front panel. Current adjustment is not provided in dual output units.
